August is here and we are asking where has the first seven months gone?   I am so glad we can celebrate today and everyday in what the LORD is and what HE has done for each of us.  I want us to think about how blessed we are everyday. 

While at Indian Springs Holiness Campmeeting this year God spoke to my heart about going deeper with HIM.  I would like to pass that challenge on to you as well.  Let us take a moment to reflect on what that would look like in our lives. 

1.      To set aside a time to talk with GOD as a means of asking GOD, what HE would like for me to do?  Who would HE like for me to minister to?  Who can I help this day? 

2.       Would be to study the Bible more.  Meaning to give GOD more of our devoted time.  To set aside a specific time just for studying the WORD.  (FOCUS)

3.      Ask GOD how can what I studied apply to my life today?  And be available to share what I have learned with others.  GOD will make a way or open up avenues for you to share the GOOD NEWS! 

4.      Make sure I remember to Thank the LORD for what HE has done for me with giving me my health, talents, gifts and graces.  To let HIM know how much I appreciate how HE created me so uniquely to be used for HIS honor and glory. 

The Scripture is 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV) And in 2 Peter 3:14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by HIM in peace, without spot and blameless. (NKJV).

These words above I can only pray will challenge you too?   To want (desire) to become more like JESUS!   The only way I have figured out to have the mind of CHRIST is to study the WORD OF GOD.  This will help us in every aspect of our lives.  The only way to show JESUS is to KNOW JESUS.  This can happen by setting more of your time aside to talk with HIM, Listen to HIM, and study HIS WORD to know what is expected of you in your everyday living.  His LOVE will flow out of you if you put it in you.  That comes by spending time with the ONE who can influence you the most to be like JESUS.  And that is JESUS!  Have a wonderful month of ministry.
